IPL-Every information about IPL.

 

IPL was started in 2008 and it was the sixth  League in gathering audience .

It was started because in 2007 Zee Entertainment Enterprises started Indian cricket league ICL but BCCI is not happy with that and announced launch of a franchise based twenty twenty cricket competition call Indian premier League

In 24 January 2008 team were purchased 

There are total 8 teams 

IPL first season start from 18th April 2008

Rajasthan royal won first IPL

first region is viewed by 3422000 people in stadium.

Shaun marsh got the orange cap because he made 660 and runs.

And Sohail tanvir got the purple cap,he take 22 wickets


IPL 2009

Deccan chargers was the winner of that IPL

It was hosted in South Africa 200 million people watched on TV and makes a new record

Matthew Hayden made 572 ran and got orange cap

RP Singh takes 23 wickets and got purple cap


IPL 2010

Chennai super king was the winner of that IPL.

And this was the first tournament which is broadcasted on YouTube.

And last 4 match is shown in 3D in cinema halls and theatres

Sachin tendulkar made 618 runs and got orange cap

Pragyan ojha takes 21 wickets and got purple cap


IPL 2011

Chennai super king won that IPL

In this IPL two teams added Pune warriors India and Kochi tuskers Kerala

Chris Gayle made 608 runs and got orange cap.

Lathis malinga takes 28 wickets and got purple cap.


IPL 2012

Kochi tuskers Kerala suspended and because of that only 9 teams left

Kolkata Knight riders won that IPL

Again Chris Gayle got orange cap he made 733 runs.

Morne morkel takes 25 wicket and got purple cap.


IPL 2013

Mumbai Indian won that IPL

Deccan chargers terminated

Sunrisers Hyderabad is added as a replacement of Deccan chargers.

Michael hussey made 733 runs and got orange cap.

Dwayne bravo takes 33 wickets and got purple cap


IPL 2014

Pune warriors terminated

Since there are total 8 teams.

Kolkata Knight riders won that IPL

2014 IPL was hosted in United Arab Emirates because of elections in India.

Robin uthappa made 660 run and got orange cap

Mohit Sharma takes 23 wickets and got purple cap


IPL 2015

Mumbai Indian won that IPL

David Warner made 562 runs and got orange cap.

Dwayne bravo takes 26 wickets and got purple cap.


IPL 2016

Sunrisers Hyderabad won that  IPL 

Two teams banned

Chennai super king and Rajasthan royals

And two teams are added Gujarat lions and Rising Pune supergiants

 Virat kohli made record in IPL 973 runs he got orange cap

 Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes 23 wickets, he got purple cap


IPL 2017

Mumbai Indians won that IPL.

And Mumbai Indian was the first team who won 3 IPL tournament 2013, 2015 and 2017

David Warner made 641 runs he got orange cap

Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes 26 wickets he got purple cap


IPL 2018

Chennai super king won that  IPL 

Kane Williamson made 735 runs and he got orange cap

Andrew tye takes 24 wickets and he got purple cap


IPL 2019

Mumbai Indian won that IPL tournament

David Warner made 692 runs and he got orange cap

Imran Tahir takes 26 wickets and he got purple cap
